A single core wire is a cylindrical strand of metal twisted together to form a single conductor. These wires are available in different thickness and gauges as per customer requirements.

The house wires are multi-strand flexible wires with fire resistant properties and are equipped with specially formulated insulation, with a high oxygen and temperature index, that enables the cable to withstand overloads preventing electric mishaps. Our wires are manufactured using a special PVC compound which is Lead and Halogen Free, Heat Resistant (LFHR), Flame Retardant (FR) and emits Low Smoke.

Construction:

The conductors, drawn from bright electrolytic grade copper, are annealed and bunched together.

Insulation:
  • FR: Flame Retardant           

The bunched conductors are insulated with specially formulated FR PVC compound with a high insulation resistance value. The insulation process is carried out on modern high-speed extrusion lines, which ensures high accuracy and consistency in performance. Flame retardant properties enable the cable to withstand overloads. The insulation is resistant to boiling water, steam and vapours. This prevents ageing and cracking in kitchens, bathrooms, damp walls and chemical industries.

  • HR: Heat Resistant

Bunched Conductors are insulated with a Flame Resistant and Heat retardant PVC Compound with a suitable to bear temperature up to 85 degree Celsius along with flame retardant and heat resistant properties.SurajCables offer better and high-quality insulation thatare capable of carrying higher current and ensure better electrical and mechanical performance at higher temperature.

  • FRLS: Fire Retardant and Low Smoke

Bunched conductors are insulated with specially formulate” Flame Retardant Low Smoke Lead Free Compound that restricts the spread offlame. It is ideal for wiring solutions in multi-storied buildings, hotels, hospitals, commercial establishments and residential complexes. It is shielded by a specially formulated Flame Retardant PVC compound which emits minimum smoke in case of fire.

During fire, ordinary PVC emits black smoke and toxic fumes which are acidic in nature. This also impairs visibility and hampers rescue operations. FRLS insulation retards spread of fire and emits minimum smoke and toxic gases, thereby reducing the risk of injury and safe evacuation.

  • FRLSZH: Fire Retardant, Low Smoke and Zero Halogen

Bunched conductors are insulated with specially formulated grade of Halogen Free Flame Retardant (HFFR) PVC compound. The insulation does not melt or drip in case of fire. The smoke emission is transparent, non-toxic and minimal. The victims trapped in the fire do not suffer suffocation and evacuation is convenient. The cables are suitable for conduit wiring, especially in installations where fire, smoke and toxic fumes create potential threat.

Comes with 30% oxygen index (LOI) & 3000C temperature index which are higher than the specified values for improved fire performance for category C2, higher the oxygen index value, greater the non-combustibility. Anchor FR-LSH wire emits at least 50% less smoke than comparable wires with even lesser amount of corrosive halogen acid & toxic gasses below 18% against that of 20% specified value.
